CLI

Command line interface. This is the command prompt window included in your operating system (OS) from which you will run commands such as creating local directories and connecting MongoDB to Sonar. Also known as a terminal or shell (not to be confused with the mongo shell, which runs as a process within the CLI).

Dispatcher

SonarDispatcher.

mongo shell

The mongo shell, also known as the MongoDB shell, is an interactive JavaScript interface to MongoDB. You can use the mongo shell to query and update data as well as perform administrative operations.

SAGE

The term "SAGE" refers to Analytics Engines in SonarG.

shell

Shell may refer to either the mongo shell or the CLI.

SonarDispatcher

SonarDispatcher is a daemon that processes jobs fired by the scheduler and is responsible for email and SCP-based delivery of results. It is a python script running from the SonarFinder directory and configured using dispatcher.conf.

sonargd

The daemon responsible for ingesting incoming data extract files from Guardium collectors. Sonargd performs the required extract-transform-load (ETL) transformations and inserts the data into the SonarW warehouse.

SSH

SSH, also known as Secure Shell or Secure Socket Shell, is a network protocol that gives users, particularly system administrators, a secure way to access a computer over an unsecured network.
